SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER BELLEVUE, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

This position is for a Senior Software Engineer who will architect, design, build and test the next generation of web applications for the client enterprise and small business platforms. This highly visible and mission critical position will require design and implementation of solutions that will enable the company to meet and exceed industry standards. S/He will need to communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and will also be responsible for designing solutions and helping team members with the implementation. Mentoring and guiding the development team will be one of the primary objectives.

POSITION DETAILS

- Architect technical solutions given complex business requirements and problems.
- Design and develop highly secure, scalable and fault-tolerant systems using .NET and MS SQL.
- Design and develop various reusable business components and API interfaces for merchants/resellers.
- Build UI that works on mobile, tablet and desktop browsers and mixed mode apps, using Responsive Web Design techniques using HTML5, CSS, varies JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, JQuery, Knockout JS.
- Follow Engineering Excellence practices of unit testing, TDD (Test Driven Design), separation of concerns and other best design practices to build reusable and maintainable components.
- Design and develop reusable, scalable and secure stored procedures using T-SQL/PL/SQL
- Work with cross functional team to resolve various project impediments.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architectures, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, commonly used design patterns and web service concepts like REST and SOAP
- 5+ years experience designing and developing web applications C#, ASP, ASP.NET 2.0 to 4.0
- 4+ years of experience writing Web Services (ASMX, WCF, WebAPI)
- Expertise in client side JavaScript frameworks, like AngularJS, JQuery, Knockout JS
- 5+ years of experience writing production quality SQL/stored procedures, Strong knowledge of Transact SQL
- Experience in relational database design, optimization and performance with commercial-grade databases such as SQL Server, Oracle
- XML, XPATH and XSL
- Experience with Agile methodologies/SCRUM
