Senior Software Engineer

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (WINDRIVER, LINUX, SOLARIS, CLEARCASE, PERL, SHELL HYPERVISION)

I'm looking for a Senior Software Engineer, to integrate the testing tools and processes of Software Development within the new WindRiver Linux test environment to enable full functionality and end-to-end WindRiver Linux support for Software Developers

DELIVERABLES:

- Integration of test tooling and interfaces in new WindRiver Linux DevBench

JOB/ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- Software engineer with experience of Linux/Solaris expert; Perl development (senior), Shell Scripting (senior); RedHat Hypervisor integration in self-made tooling (Perl)
- General: software development, at least HBO level/System Integration experience

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Main Task is to integrate the current self-made tooling on a Linux platform Perl within the business tools (on Solaris) and processes
- Adjust Scripting, identifying root cause analysis, problem solving, guiding and helping customer to adjust their Scripting/tools, setup FAQ to use new test environment by developers

SPECIALS:

- In-depth knowledge of command syntax differences between Solaris and Linux RedHat platforms and understanding of ClearCase architecture (Vob/View) for baseline integration within new test environment
