Senior Software Developer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Work with gear process specialists and mathematicians to implement complex and user friendly gear manufacturing software applications
-Develop high level code to create innovative software solutions to complex gear machine functions
-Work with internal UX/UI specialists, operators, and customers to create friendly user experiences
-Work within a Globally dispersed team to create innovative software solutions for our global products
-Lead 5-7 subteam developers as well as sprint planning and daily scrum sessions
-Provide ideas and insights for improving overall team performance
-Communicate frequently with the other POT leaders to ensure activities are tightly aligned toward key project goals
-Provide necessary support to subteam members so they can successfully execute their sprint tasks
-Identify risks and proactively bring the right people together to solve these risks
-Involve the chief architect to ensure concepts and implementations are 100% aligned with project architectural principles
-Escalate weak team member performance to manager/sponsor for correction

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or comparable training
-C# and Angular hands on expertise
-Working knowledge of Distributed Service Oriented Architectures, Complex Event Processing and Distributed Systems
-Experience working within a globally dispersed team
-Experience leading software platform development including HMI, PLC and NC components
-Experience in software development within Machine Tool industry
-Experience leading teams in the deployment and improvement of new software architectures
-Experience leading agile development teams
-Excellent problem solving methodologies and facilitation
-Experience coaching and mentoring team members
