Senior Social Worker - Family Support

Great opportunity to work in an ongoing contract as a Senior Social Worker within a long-term children and families team in Milton Keynes.
As a Senior Social Worker / Senior Practitioner you will deal with a complex caseload of children and their families making assessments, putting in care plans of family support, conducting child protection investigations, attending court, writing court reports, dealing with care proceedings and making LAC reviews.
This is an extremely settled and supportive team with excellent policies and procedures. The Team Manager is very experienced, has an "open door" policy and is extremely knowledgeable in this area of social work and geographical area having been a manager of this team for many years.
They are looking for a Qualified Social Worker who is a car owner-driver with solid post-qualifying experience of working within this type of team who is also willing to offer support to other staff when the need arises.
