Senior SOA Archiect

My client a leading multinational IT services company is looking for a Senior SOA Architect to join their team on a an initial 3 month contract basis with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Working in a Service Delivery environment the role will be responsible for leading the definition of the SOA Strategy for a customer.
- In conjunction with senior customer and project stakeholders, lead the formulation of the SOA Strategy for the organisation;
- Work with senior stakeholders in defining the SOA principles, patterns and taxonomy;
- Work with key stakeholders and define the conceptual SOA Reference Architecture;
- Define the SOA Security Model based on best practices and customer-specific policies and principles;
- Provide guidance to and manage the definition of SOA Governance, including determination of policies, processes and procedures

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of consulting at the senior level
- Enterprise Architecture definitions
- SOA Strategy definition at the enterprise level
- Setting up of SOA Governance policies, processes and procedures
- Definition of SOA Reference Architecture and service catalogue
- Knowledge and understanding of UML and Architecture Modelling Tools
