Senior Site Reliability Engineer/CICD/Cloud/GIT/Gitlab

For a major financial institution, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer were you are responsible of re-designing their pipeline to create a highly scalable and reliable infrastructure. You will build and maintain their infrastructure to ensure scalability and high-availability while maximizing development team efficiency. You will implement solutions for automated provisioning of clusters and centralized configuration management using orchestration and configuration management tools and you will perform automated deployments to create new or update existing production/staging environments. Next will provide insights into scalability and maintenance to developers and show curiousness to investigate new technologies and design future-proof solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

You are up for a challenge and ready for a change. You have a strong background as a software, infra or system engineer and do you work in close collaboration with your team to build up and improve the overall reliability and resilience of the environment. You are an expert on the command line and enthusiastic about automation and optimizing the overall performance and availability of the environment.

ADDITIONALLY YOU:

- have 5+ years hands-on experience in software development
- are well versed in GIT/GITLAB and CD/CI tools and pipeline
- have proven exposure of Virtualization/Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- have knowledge of Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Puppet
- have exposure to Containerization and Microservices
- have proven experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment
- have exposure to Networking technologies such as Routers, VPN's, load balancers and Firewalls
- are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
- are a strong Team Player and Experience in working with teams in and across sites
