Senior Shipping Analyst, Oil Major-London £50-£65k

My client has activities in exploration and production, through to transport and marketing of oil, natural gas, LNG, and other commodity products. Their trading arm is located inLondonwhere they cover cross-commodity activity. A newly created role, they are looking for a senior risk analyst to take ownership of their shipping portfolio and help them grown. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a role with a great amount of exposure and responsibility, acting as a key influence into how this portfolio is driven forward. Daily requirements for this role would be to help establish and develop portfolio KPI's, chartering, performance management and optimisation. You will be required to make recommendations of how to streamline the portfolio to senior Risk Managers globally and have a pivot influence on the area. A good candidate for this position will have: * Crude and liquid products Shipping knowledge is a must. * Worked within a physical or paper trading Oil environment in a Middle Office position * Thorough understanding of Oil trading Risk methodologies * Educated to a degree standard.
