Senior Sharepoint Developer - Assistant Director

Responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications on the SharePoint and Microsoft .net platforms. Should have a passion for software development & innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight on enterprise projects and enhancing existing applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical leadership for the Information Services team for designing, coding, modifying, and evaluating Microsoft .NET and SharePoint solutions in support of strategic objectives
- In conjunction with SharePoint Architects, identify key platform requirements for Extranet, Intranet, and enterprise-wide applications
- Devises logic and technical procedures
- Performs coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
- Develops conversion and system implementation plans
- Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation
- Builds solutions and perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
- Performs Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain) effectively
- Develops estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget
- Conducts research, advises on new technology, and evaluates alternative solutions
- Provides third level application support for portfolio of internal applications
- Effectively works in teams as well as independently
- Works with internal stakeholders and IS development team
- Minimal travel

SKILLS:

SKILL SETS REQUIRED:

- Deep knowledge of 2.0/3.5/4.0/4.5 .NET Framework, specifically C# and ASP .NET required
- Design and Development experience for the SharePoint 2010 and 2013 platforms
- Microsoft InfoPath 2007 (or later) development preferred
- Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and XML
- Services Oriented Architecture (Web Services, HTTP, REST) programming experience preferred
- Knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) syntax and database development on SQL Server 2008 (or later) platform required
- Microsoft development related certifications a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5 years' experience developing web applications using .NET Framework, C#, ASP .NET, XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- 2 years' experience in design and application development using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 and Windows SharePoint - Services including but not limited to a working knowledge of CAML, Web Services, InfoPath, WebParts, AJAX, and Active Directory
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required
- 5 years' of experience developing applications on the SQL Server platform using T-SQL, stored procedures and database functions
- Must be willing to travel and work overtime as required
