Senior Sharepoint Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Designing, coding, modifying, and evaluating SharePoint and Microsoft.NET solutions
- Devises logic and technical procedures
- Performs coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
- Develops conversion and system implementation plans
- Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
- Builds solutions and perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
- Performs Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain) effectively
- Develops estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget
- Conducts research, advises on new technology, and evaluates alternative solutions
- Provides third level application support for portfolio of internal applications.
- Effectively works in teams as well as independently
- Works with internal stakeholders and IS development team; minimal travel

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Information Technology or related discipline
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required

SKILLS

- Deep knowledge of 2.0/3.5/4.0.NET Framework, specifically C# and ASP.NET;
- Design and Development experience for the SharePoint 2010 platform;
- Knowledge of DHTML, JavaScript, and XML;
- Services Oriented Architecture (Web Services, HTTP, REST) programming experience;
- Knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) syntax and database development on SQL Server 2005 (or later) RDBMS platform;
- Experience with developing with Microsoft InfoPath 2007 (or later) preferred;
- Knowledge of classical ASP, COM+, and VBScript preferred;
- Microsoft development related certifications a plus;
- 5 years experience developing web applications using.NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS;
- 5 years experience developing applications on the SQL Server platform using T-SQL, stored procedures and database functions;
- 2 years experience in design and application development using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (or later) and Windows SharePoint - Services including but not limited to a working knowledge of CAML, Web Services, InfoPath, WebParts, AJAX, and Active Directory
