Senior Sharepoint Architect - Sharepoint 2013, Nintex, Agile, Office 3

My client, a leading ATM organisation in Belgium is looking for an experienced SENIOR SHAREPOINT ARCHITECT to work as part of a team for an initial one year contract with possibility of extension.

Specific context:

The SENIOR SHAREPOINT ARCHITECT who will be responsible for providing direction and hands-on assistance in DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING, SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING SHAREPOINT 2010 AND 2013 ENVIRONMENTS.

- You must be skilled in ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, CONFIGURATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING SHAREPOINT FARMS.
- Must be able to work under supervision, provide technical leadership and perform a variety of tasks like for instance contribute to the definition of technical standards and governance.
- Depending on the needs, you might also act as a SharePoint solution architect, translating functional and technical requirements into technical solutions design and implementation.
- You must have experience in leading teams that include: SP developers, business analyst(s).
- You must exhibit solid professional capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Evaluation Criteria:

- Strong knowledge and experience of SHAREPOINT 2013 TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE, FARMS DEPLOYMENTS, administration and extensions possibilities
- MS CERTIFICATION AS SP ARCHITECT or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge and experience in ENTERPRISE SEARCH SOLUTIONS based on SP 2013
- Experience in DEFINING DISASTER RECOVERY PLANS
- Sound knowledge of MICROSOFT UAG, AD AND LDAP technologies
- Knowledge and experience in NINTEX workflows
- Ability to lead solutions technical implementation (coordination and expertise in .NET DEVELOPMENTS)
- Sound knowledge and experience in (contributing to) establishing SharePoint 2013 information architecture (DEFINITION OF TAXONOMIES, METADATA AND CONTENT HUBS, etc.)
- Strong knowledge and experience in (contributing to) establishing SharePoint 2013 best practices, standards and governance
- Sound knowledge of SharePoint 2013 functional capabilities (OOTB FUNCTIONALITIES, CONFIGURATION POSSIBILITIES)
- Strong experience in running strategic studies requiring to manage various stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft most up to date offerings (O365, AZURE, CLOUD/HYBRID, SHAREPOINT ROADMAP, ETC.)
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented, Result driven, integrity and team player approach
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French would be an asset

Task description and responsibilities:

- Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of our SharePoint platform technical standards,best practices and governance
- Perform studies related to the evolution of our SharePoint platform in coordination with the Business and the IT teams
- Contribute to the definition of the necessary Information architecture (inc. taxonomy, managed metadata,content types, search, navigation, etc.)
- Define the technical design of SharePoint solutions in answer to functional requirements and/or architectural constraints
- Lead the implementation of technical solutions (custom development, integration, etc.)
- Create and maintain operational documentation, architecture diagrams, maintenance plans and other platform related documents
- Orchestrate activities in an environment comprising multiple IT operations teams
- Participate in the creation of disaster recovery plans
