Senior Infrastructure Security Architect - Financial Services - Geneva, Switzerland.

My client are a global commodities trading company with 30+ offices worldwide. Due to a large investment in their technology portfolio and a huge infrastructure transformation programme, they have an urgent requirement for a Senior Security Architect.

The Architect will be the global Security expert and take ultimate responsibility for the design and delivery (from a technology perspective), of a robust, fully scalable security solution, spanning multiple global locations. The successful candidate must have experience delivering architectural definition for large-scale security solutions, preferably within a large financial services or telecommunications organisation. You'll be experienced in both strategic planning and operational delivery. The successful candidate will have experience selecting security approaches and standards, assessing core IT security capability and improving security in line with core business objectives, have strong knowledge of IT Governance and Operating Models, Process Control, Performance Management, Security Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture and Risk and Compliance management with knowledge and experience of relevant tools such as Splunk and Arcsight. You will be an accredited security professional with either CISM or CISSP qualifications and a deep background in large scale security solution delivery. You will have excellent communication skills, excellent technical skills, the ability to manage a small team of hands on engineers and be willing to work on a contract basis in Geneva, Switzerland at least 4 days per week.
