Senior Security Architect - 12 Months+ Contract

This is an exciting and long term contract opportunity for a SENIOR SECURITY ARCHITECT with strong technical knowledge and a passion for hands on design, engineering and architecture responsibilities.

You will be responsible for maintaining and managing the security of the company's global network, creating new architectures and designs as well as to fulfil the required documentation.

The client is looking for someone to hit the ground running and to quickly understand their current infrastructure and solutions, who wants to work for a global leader, within a complex environment and the opportunity to take leadership responsibilities.

This role will start as a 12 months contract but if you prove yourself it will be continuously extended or the possibility to be made permanent.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

- Strong focus on Checkpoint, Provider-1, Network Architecture, IDS, IPS, Firewalls
- Has worked within a complex environment on a global scale
- 8 years+ experience witin security and infrastructure
- DMZ Architecture
- Global IT infrastructure and architecture
- Excellent documentation skills
- Penetration testing
- Intrusion prevention
- Global MPLS, Cisco ESA
- Enterprise IT Security

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Industry Specific Qualifications (CISSP, CCSA, CCSE, CCMA, etc.)
- Degree level (or equivalent)
- Project Management
