Senior SDET

We're looking for a strong SDET to help build test processes and automation across the group. We currently have several concurrent projects in various stages of development from mid-development to near-shipping. In the short-term, focus will be on the near-shipping products, enhancing and building test infrastructure to execute tests daily and report results across multiple platforms so that key metrics are readily surfaced and available to make product release decisions. Longer term focus will be on developing new tests in specific product areas as well as standardizing test processes across the teams. Tests and infrastructure across the teams are in various stages of development as well. Some areas have strong test suites while others have relatively small suites of unit tests. Across the board there is a large variety of tests we need implemented, which run the gamut from regression, E2E, metrics, stability, performance, stress, security, you name it. Execution and reporting infrastructure development needs are there as well, be it improving existing infra, creating new frameworks, individual tools, web reporting or others. Opportunities to learn and make an impact abound.

We need a seasoned Engineer who has experience in all manner of testing and test automation development. We have such a wide variety of test development needs it is essential that we have a candidate that is capable of delivering results whatever the task. We also work in a startup environment where tasks are not always clear and priorities are always shifting. We need a candidate that can deal with ambiguity and changing schedules, someone who think critically to cut through the clutter of various facts and uncertainty to realize and decide what's most important, design a solution, and deliver results quickly. We need someone who is driven by both passion for tech and for testing and who can largely work independently to solve their own problems and make magic happen.

Essential skills and experiences required for this role are the following:

- 5+ years in an SDET (coding) role
- Involved as an SDET in at least 1 product shipping cycle
- C++ and C#, 50/50
- Test automation design and development experience - test suites and tools (cmd line and UI)
