Senior Scrum Master - English Speaking

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Scrum Master needs to know what tasks have been completed, what tasks have started, any new tasks that have been discovered, and any estimates that may have changed. They are responsible for keeping up the burndown chart. The Scrum Master needs to raise awareness of dependencies and blocks that are impediments to the sprint. These issues need to be prioritized and tracked and remediation plan needs to be implemented for impediments in priority order. The Scrum Master will radiate information or ensure that a team's progress and successes are highly visible to the team itself and works to assist the Product Owner with various activities. These include communicating updates and impediments as well as assisting with backlog and release plan maintenance.

Conduct on-going project meetings

Create an environment of team spirit and excitement around what is being delivered

Proactively resolve conflict between people and if needed escalate appropriately

Responsible for time boxed (2-3 week) sprint planning and execution

Gather & disseminate project information on a regular basis, documenting team agreements, sprint plans, release plans, and retrospectives

The Scrum Master will support a development/engineering team and thus should have a basic understanding of:

* Fundamentals of iterative development

* Technical background (as a developer)

* Fundamentals of Identity Access Management

* Agile/SCRUM Processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise

* Experience with agile projects

* Fundamentals of software development processes and procedures

* The value of commitments to delivery made by a development team

* Incremental delivery and the value of metrics

* Backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
