One of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies with HQ in Basel is looking for a SENIOR SCIENTIFIC PLATFORM SPECIALIST with Experience in a PHARMACEUTICAL ENVIRONMENT.

This is a challenging contracting position starting in August 2018 until the end of the year.

TASKSdesirable understanding of Computer Systems Validation and ITIL concept
- Professional Linux related certifications
- Fluent in English

NICE TO HAVES:

- Desirable experience, installation and configuration of scientific applications particularly on a Linux/Unix platform (eg Schrodinger, Moe, Bowtie, Gromacs, R, Python, Matlab, Topspin, Pipeline Pilot) and 2)
- Experience of Linux build and packaging tools (eg Make, CMake, Easybuild, RPM, Yum)
- Good German skills
- Programming skills in high level languages such as Java or C++ are a plus
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP
