This application concerns the activities of the role of Enterprise SAS specialist within the CoE Analytics within IV Accent. IV emphasis has been drawn up to provide the Tax Authorities with the best possible support in realising the Investment Agenda of the Tax Authorities. Within the tax authorities, a modern Business Analytics and Business Intelligence infrastructure was chosen based on SAS i.c.m. RHEL Linux in combination with Teradata. The introduction of SAS/VIYA will be part of this assignment. With these means, data scientists are enabled to perform analyses within the Analytics Platform. In addition, this platform is used to operationalise Analytics. Second and third-party support for the end users when using the SAS/Teradata infrastructure and SAS issues on the platforms supported by the CoE Analytics is also part of this assignment.

The SAS/Teradata architecture is the engine of the Business Analytics and Business Intelligence platform. The Tax and Customs Administration is currently realising the Analytical Data Perimeter (ADP). This is a technically completely closed digital work environment where only predefined, controlled and approved data routes are possible, which are always logged and monitored. All Business Analytics and Business Intelligence capabilities will eventually be migrated to the ADP.
