Senior SAS Data Analyst

SENIOR SAS DATA ANALYST - (SAS/SQL/TIVOLI/UNIX) - £400.00 PER DAY - LEEDS - 2 MONTHS

My global financial services client has an urgent requirement for a Senior SAS Data Analyst to undertake the development of key risk solutions through a full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilising SAS/SQL/Tivoli/UNIX. The solutions will support all Retail business lines (Mortgages, Unsecured Lending, Small Business, Savings) and model types (Behavioural, Pricing, Capital/Impairment, Effective Interest Rate/IAS) etc. Ensure that all solutions are fully automated when implemented into the Risk SAS Data Warehouse for the Production team to run. Use experience and expertise in data and technical areas to support the Data Management team and help shape the strategic direction of the team within the Decision Management area.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Advanced SAS Programming - Base SAS in particular
Advanced SQL Programming. SAS or Teradata SQL an advantage
Excel Macro/VBA programming skills advantageous
Experience of Tivoli Workflow Scheduler
Fully understand the concept of OLAP cubes. Can build new cubes within models and utilise the excel add-in function.
