Senior SAP P2P/MM Consultant

Projektbeschreibung
Our client is looking for a Senior consultant, experienced in SAP P2P/MM for a six month to one year contract in Brussels, Belgium
Organization
The client is situated in the retail sector.
Function
Scope: Purchase Order Management, Good Receipt, Interfacing of Purchase order creation via PI to Legacy & Planning tools, EDI & VMI, Integration with Promotion module.
Collaborates with business stakeholders to define the user requirements and develops business solutions to fulfil the agreed requirements. Develops, configures and tests enhancements to SAP systems, based on customer requirements and according to solution designs. Performs frequently new and varied work that involves a high degree of complexity.
- Participates and leads the functional track design across all phases of the project
- Organises, prepares and presents workshops (strong communication/presentation skills), managing mitigations
- Configures SAP modules according to solution designs and Blueprint
- Writes documentation (WRICEF, SOP, training material, configuration and customizing, etc.)
- Support Business Processes mapping effort
- Support offshore development team as needed
- Conduct functional Unit Tests and String Tests
- Support Integration Tests and UAT
- Support short term Post go-Live activities and knowledge transfer
In adherence to the client company's policies and while adapting to the business environment.
Willing to travel to other locations of the client.
Requirements
Must have's:
- Demonstrates relevant experience within the Food Retail Industry
- At least 6-7 years of experience and knowledge in implementing SAP applications from design to Go-Live, preferably with a minimum of 5 years experience in SAP Retail
- International implementation experience, in multi-country roll-outs, based on global template and country localisation
- Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers, external, and internal customers
- Ability to work with MS Office applications and SAP implementation tools (eg: Solution Manager)
- Strong decision making skills and ability to use discretion
- Requires strong analytical skills and creativity
Technical/Functional expertise
Expert knowledge of following functional SAP areas is essential:
- Core SAP business modules:
- MM - 5/5
- SD (ECC6) - 3/5
- FI/CO - 2/5
- Specific SAP Retail expertise:
- Promotions - 3/5
- Pricing - 3/5
- Listing & Assortment Mgt. - 2/5
- Retail Master-data structure/Architecture - 4/5
Additional expertise and knowledge in the following areas is an asset:
- SAP ABAP, User Exits, LSMW- 3/5
- SAP ALE, BAPI, iDoc - 4/5
- SAP Authorization concept (PFCG, Roles and Profiles) - 2/5
Languages:
- Fluent in English
