Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant

FOR OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SENIOR SAP FICO CONSULTANT

Duration: 30 working days + extension for the implementation phase

In the context of supporting the operation and maintenance of the future terminal being constructed at Dunkerque (France) our client is currently looking for a Senior SAP FICO consultant to define the accounting, controlling and asset management processes in order to prepare for a major SAP implementation project in Belgium & France starting in October 2013. The ideal candidate will assist in the blue-print design phase through to implementation and go-live.

JOB DESCRIPTION/PROJECT BACKGROUND

* You will have the following mission:
Identifying the accounting, controlling and asset management processes supporting the operation and maintenance of the terminal being constructed at Dunkerque. The mission also includes the functional analysis describing how to implement these processes in SAP taking into account the company structure and specificities of the French legislation
* Tasks include interviews of business users and managers, describe the processes, identify SAP FICO functionality setup, interfacing with other applications and the setup of an operational and management reporting

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS
* You have perfect knowledge of the SAP FI CO AA modules (ECC 6, EHP5) and of the capabilities of the system.
* You have a good knowledge of SAP logistic modules (MM, PM, WM) allowing you to integrate all the financial aspects in the SAP setup
* You have a good understanding of the Finance/Controlling operations within a Finance department of a Corporate Company.
* You have a good understanding of the French Finance/Controlling legislation.
* You have a deep experience in the implementation of SAP projects
* You have proven experience in a financial department.
* You are able to interact professionally with a diverse group and subject matter experts.
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a hands-on planner for large complex programs and detailed projects or 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Leader in a dynamic and innovative high-tech organization.
* Expert knowledge in the area of Project Management in a high-tech environment related to a product creation process.
* Experience with planning methods and tooling (MS Project) is required.
