Senior SAP BI/BW Engineer

For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

SENIOR ENGINEER (BI/BW)

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

SAP Business Intelligence Analysist and Developer working with Finance Business planning you will managing a offsite team for a global financial planning tool for business plan and target setting, in addition to driving the supporting processes across all Regions and Functions.

Main tasks:

- Supports the definition and implementation of a planning tool for IT costs
- Leads the deployment team in Poland
- Breaks down the tasks for the deployment team, follow up and support the team
- Hands over the solution to team in Poland for sustainable operations
- Communicates updates to the business and deployment team
- Supports the hiring manager (being back-up for holidays etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in computer sciences, software engineering
- 10+ years of professional IT experience
- 10 years of experience on SAP Business Intelligence, IP (Integrated Planning) and BPS
- 5 - 7 years of experience with hands-on in ABAP, OO and ABAP for BW
- Analyst and solution designer for Business Objects focused on Design Studio and Analysis Office is mandatory, reporting and planning
- Hands-on knowledge of Webdynpro and BPS programming
- Ideal knowledge in Web development and designer including usability, CSS and JavaScript
- Proven experience and in-depth knowledge as a Business Analyst as developer and coordinator for global solutions working with onsite and offshore teams
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
- Strong customer focus, experience in working in global, multi-cultural environments, with a structured working approach and excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Outgoing and open minded individual with high communication and presentation skills
