Our Client is seeking two SAP Analysts for their Supply Chain Management (SCM) Systems group. One will be a 4-month contract and one will be a 6-month contract. Role and Responsibilities

This challenging opportunity is for Senior Functional Analysts with superior analytical and business problem solving skills, along with the technical skills to be able to configure MM.

The SCM Systems group provides support to the Procurement SAP MM system for all users across the company. This includes sustaining the production environment as well as the design, development, configuration and testing of system of changes and enhancements to improve and simplify over all system performance.

This position is also responsible for the technical component of our Client's procure to pay processes and tools specifically focused on those dealing with automation.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing technical support to the HPSO automation tools, SAP MM and 3rd party tool providers. This includes working with the Automation sustainment resources to deliver on program objectives.
- Design, configuration and testing of the Materials Management (MM) module within the Procurement System including inventory, purchasing, & logistics invoice verification sub-modules.
- Build strong customer relationships with end users, automation partners, purchasing and inventory management groups and assist these groups in strategic decisions on use of SAP and other Procurement systems.
- Assess the requirements of internal customers to determine possible solutions to business issues and plan enhancement/development of business processes.
- Changes to functionality in MM and building new configuration as required.
- Performing extraction and manipulation and business analysis of data from SAP (MM).
- Executing projects in concert with Business Unit needs to improve supply management processes.
- Strive for process enhancements and developing systems expertise in concert with Purchasing/Supply Management and Inventory Management personnel to more effectively manage the total supply chain.
- Providing support to the Training team in preparing training materials and delivering end-user training as required.
- Ensure that appropriate maintenance and enhancement methods (design, implementation, testing and training) are applied and documented.
- Providing support to Supply Chain Management groups.

Qualifications

Required Skills

- At least two years of experience in a SAP support or implementation role that involved SAP usage and testing of the MM (SCM) module transactions is essential.
- Expert knowledge of MM configuration including mapping and blueprinting, along with a working knowledge of SAP/R3 (FI/CO, PS and PM) and an understanding of the impact of transactions in an integrated system, specifically financial. Experience with Remote Logistics Management is an asset.
- Experienced in developing strong working relationships with customers and articulating customer requirements to IS business analysts and developers.
- Excellent planning, organizing and negotiating skills. Strong analytical skills.
- Experienced in working in a team environment.
- Familiarity with the processes and procedures of a Purchasing department.
- Business/Technical Diploma or related Degree with at least three years of experience within material management, including exposure to requisitioning, receiving, inventory management and vendor record management is necessary.
- Knowledge of ECC6.0 in SCM an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Oil & Gas experience would be an asset, but is not mandatory.
