Senior Safety Consultant

DUTIES:
Administer safety initiatives across the organization through the delivery of standardized, results-driven safety and industrial hygiene programs and processes that safeguard the well-being of employees in the work environment and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate in writing and implementing policies around OSHA and DOT compliance. Meet with Company leadership, as necessary, to address safety issues. Measure safety programs and activities for regulatory compliance. Maintain effective partnerships with business unit leaders and other Human Resource professionals. Identify and initiate actions to maintain regulatory compliance adherence to company practices and expectations.

SKILLS:
1+ years: Coordinating safety with workers compensation, health and wellness and other corporate initiatives
3+ years: Basic knowledge of computer programs, ie Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.
3+ years: Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
3+ years: Delivering a wide range of safety and/or industrial hygiene related initiatives, programs and metrics
5+ years: Safety related regulatory compliance

EDUCATION:
Associate's Degree (minimum) Required, Concentration in Safety & Health preferred
Knowledge of OSHA 269 standard strongly preferred
