Senior Safety Advisor - Pipeline Construction

- Be part of one of Queensland's major gas pipeline projects
- Key site based position
- Initial 12 month contract

If you are an experienced Health and Safety professional this is your chance to work on one of Queensland's landmark projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Managing a team of Safety Officers
- Conducting risk and hazard assessments and inspections
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice
- Accident and incident investigation and analysis
- Site audits and development of safety plans
- Ensuring full implementation of policies, procedure and inductions
- Liaison with pipeline and management teams, client, principal contractor

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Relevant OH&S qualifications
- Significant experience of gas pipeline construction
- Strong Team Leadership background
- Proven skills in hazard and risk management
- Familiarity with legislation regarding pipeline construction
- Excellent liaison, relationship and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer software skills
