The opportunity:

My Client, a leading digital venture fund in Central London, is looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join their team ASAP. The successful candidate will be proficient in the below technology, and have a proven track record of Ruby on Rails development.

The position requires a strongly focused and self-driven individual for a minimum 3-6 month contract. You will be working closely with designers and iOS/ Android developers to deliver projects on time.

Skills/Experience required:

- Data streaming and messaging
- Ruby on Rails 3/ 4
- RVM
- Ruby 1.9
- Sockets programming/ TCP
- XML streams digesting/ processing
- Message passing systems (e.g., 0MQ)
- HTML5 / CSS3 / Bootstrap
- JavaScript /AJAX/ JQuery

Advantageous Skills:

-Java streaming servers
-Erlang

Location: Central London

Duration: 3-6 months
