Senior Risk Manager. EMEA Risk Reporting. Asset Management/Asset Servi

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to join our client, a major global asset management & asset servicing organisation on a contract basis.

Our client's risk management framework ensures that all material risks in each business line are defined, understood, and effectively managed by well-designed policies and controls, and that an organizational structure is in place to provide oversight in managing such risks and other strategic concerns.

This is a senior level position responsible for reviewing the existing Risk reporting and strategy then formulating and designing how to take it forward.

Key to success is ensuring that effective risk management and measurement reporting across the region from both a legal entity and regional perspective is maintained.

Based in London or Manchester, the incumbent will serve as the senior leader for risk reporting and will be accountable for driving the highest level of risk reporting quality across all risk areas including Credit, Market and Operational risk.

The incumbent will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Head of Operational Risk for EMEA and will collaborate with the business line risk managers, Legal Entity Risk Officers and Risk type heads within EMEA and globally with the CAO in the US.

Conceptual and strategic/forward thinker. Ability to foresee changes in the business (both internal and exogenous) and associate those changes to future business impact and risks

Knowledge of risk management, economic issues and regulatory environment

Strong knowledge of Excel/Access essential

Proven track record of delivering

Able to translate and explain complex issues simplistically

Direct relevant work experience, including extensive Risk reporting experience
