Senior Risk Manager for Mutual Funds

Currently I am recruiting for a well respected financial institution in Geneva. My client is looking for a very calm and quality-oriented Senior Risk Manager for Mutual Funds. You will be part of a specialist- team and take on leadership to ensure a suitable group-wide governance process on the management of the funds activities. Tasks: * Monitoring of set up, changes and liquidation of funds * Reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis on risks identified * Deviation-controlling in regards to investment restrictions of the funds * Compliance checks * Liaise with front-office stakeholders in terms of training on funds- asset management requirements * Assessing and escalating of investment risks (quantifying using statistical and econometric models) * Ensure efficient and effective processes (operational) Candidate profile * Minimum of 5 years experience conducting risk management and compliance activities for the funds business * Previous work-experience within a private bank * Educated to degree- level (Masters preferred) * Strong analytical- and team player- skills * Calm and discrete mindset * Ability to multitask and deal with people of all seniority-levels * Fluency in French and English (written & spoken) is essential My client is wiling to hire ASAP.
