Senior Risk Manager - ERM - PRA - London - 6 months - Circa £600 per day

One of the world's largest Asset Management companies are looking to recruit a Senior Risk Manager for an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. You will be reporting to the Risk Governance SRO, to help plan, coordinate and conduct an internal high level qualitative self-assessment of the effectiveness of the banks EMEA Risk (including oversight of downstream legal entity self-assessments and consolidation of results), against a pre-defined set of success criteria, to document findings, and support the team that is preparing Senior Risk Management for Attestation to the UK PRA.

Key Skills and experience needed for the role are:- - Must be ex-bank internal auditor or ex-financial services auditor with top 4 accountancy firm
- Minimum grade of manager, with recent experience of planning, leading and conducting an audit of a bank's Risk Management function
- Has comprehensive ERM wide knowledge including risk governance, risk management framework and operating models over all risks
- Experienced in regulatory compliance matters and aware of the current environment
- Able to evidence successful prior Project work
- MUST BE ABLE to make high level qualitative assessment of status, and to document and justify findings to senior management.
