My client is a leading independent Oil and Gas Operator who are looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer, with an extensive track record, to join their growing Petroleum Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging reservoir engineering experience including reservoir management, forecasting, and simulation in MBAL-GAP (or similar) are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A key aspect of the role will be to actively challenge other departments in all aspects of project definition, planning, and execution. Other areas of expertise which would be highly advantageous are experience of developing and operating offshore fields, especially with another North Sea operator; experience of carrying out economic evaluations, project ranking, and option selection; and more extensive simulation experience in Eclipse or similar.
