SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA

- PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology
- Experience in epigenetics/chromatin biology

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- We have an opening for a talented Senior Research Associate (temporary position) to join the Discovery Oncology Department.
- Our department is responsible for new target discovery and validation.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing in vitro systems to be used for interrogating the function of novel targets and evaluating their therapeutic relevance.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work creatively, independently and collaboratively.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in mammalian cell culture and standard molecular biology and biochemistry techniques including but not limited to: RNAi, CRISPR genome editing, qPCR, Western Blot and viral transduction.
- Experience in epigenetics/chromatin biology is highly preferred.
- Qualified candidates will possess the proven ability to work independently and have publications in peer reviewed journals.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or a related field is required
