Senior Research Associate Job

SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- We have an opening for a talented Research Associate/Senior Research Associate (temporary position) to join the Biomarker Discovery department in our Immunology Tissue Growth and Repair division. We are seeking a motivated, interactive and flexible team member to perform research related to biomarker analysis and validation in inflammatory disease.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The successful candidate will use molecular, proteomic and cellular techniques to characterize clinical sample sets, validate assays, and perform in vitro experiments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The candidate is required to have experience in gene expression, protein and cell-based assays.
- Experience in primary cell culture and the processing and analysis of clinical trial samples a plus.
- Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and written and oral communication skills are essential.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A B.S. or M.S. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field is required.
