Senior Requirements Engineer Tax/FATCA

For our banking client based in ZURICH we are currently looking for a SENIOR REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER TAX/FATCA ENVIRONMENT

Location: ZURICH

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 MONTHS

Languages: GERMAN AND ENGLISH

KEY DELIVERABLES:

- Elicit and elaborate requirements
- Model and document requirements. understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
- Ensure that the specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
- Maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
- Identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
- Provide input to a first test strategy for the application
- Provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements

MANDATORY EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- Requirements engineering experiences within financial institutions for more than 5 years
- Good understanding of financial instruments
- Solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
- Deep knowledge in various fields of the banking area payment processes; client data; securities operations, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions

BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Good banking-knowhow about tax, primarily Withholding Tax (Austria), EWT
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- Background in software development processes/life cycle
- Project management experience
