Senior Requirements Engineer/IT BA

Overview of business area or project:

- Requirement Engineer/Business analyst for Trading Limit Systems (Risk Management system, principally for OTC derivatives)
- The role is to support the multiple regulatory changes along with standardizing the Private Bank and Investment Bank calculation approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide standard requirements engineering deliverables (Use Case Model, Use Cases, User Stories Business Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications) on time and with high quality and ensure business signoff
- Effort estimations and task planning for Requirements Engineering related project tasks
- Balancing fairly heavy work load with ever changing priorities
- Learning how to work effectively and efficiently with the Polish team

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO:

- Elicit, analyse, document and validate business requirements, conditions and priorities within an application development project in the Credit risk Domain
- Ensure that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional specifications
- Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation
- Supports the test team in testing activities, when necessary

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

- Degree at university level (preferably in IT or Banking)
- 6 or more years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
- Experience in banking or finance industry preferably focusing on risk management or front to back trade flows
- Datamodelling and/or SQL knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong communications and customer orientation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- An understanding of Credit Risk concepts.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in international projects
- Development or system analysis background
- Experience of Agile
- UML knowledge
