SENIOR RELEASE ENGINEER (CONSULTANCY) - CONTRACT

JOB TITLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our client is looking for an experienced Release Engineer looking to move up into management for an initial 6 month contract. You will join an existing team in a busy consultancy environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Release and Deployment management, with a focus on increasing automation
- Automating the build, Continuous Integration (CI) and deployment processes
- Supporting existing automated build, release & test solutions, and maintenance of server environments
- Environments configuration/setup
- Providing support to multiple teams

REQUIRED:

- Experience in a Software Configuration Management, Development or Build Engineer role
- Experience using - NANT/MS Build/PowerShell/TFS in a build & deployment context
- Good understanding and experience in Test Driven Development, Automated Testing Frameworks such as NUnit, FitNesse, MS Test, etc.
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration using Tools such as - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Team Build, etc.

DESIRABLE:

- Knowledge of Agile based development methodologies
- VB.NET and/or C# programming

SALARY:

- €375 - €425 per day DOE
