Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Capital Adequacy

*Urgent Contract - Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Investment Banking

The role is to cover the daily monitoring aspects of Capital Adequacy and other metrics on a regular basis. This will include analysis of key drivers and commentary for daily and month-end reporting, including communication/escalation of significant issues as appropriate and remediation of issues identified.

Some of the primary responsibilities include:

- Production and daily monitoring of key metrics - such as Capital Adequacy and Large Exposures using a combination of existing and newly acquired vendor solutions;
- Analysis of metrics by key business drivers;
- Preparation of daily commentaries for senior management to capture salient points and liaison with business partners as appropriate
- Reconciliation of production data to ledgers and other available sources;
- Identifying opportunities for enhancing controls/streamlining of underlying processes;
- Production of monthly review packs and communication of salient points to senior management;
- Assess calculation of metrics by comparison against BIPRU/CRD IV rules to ensure compliance, escalating material issues and proposing solutions

The successful candidate will hold a Minimum of 3 to 4 years Investment Banking experience and in-depth knowledge of FSA rules and regulatory requirements holding accounting qualifications (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is also essential.
