Senior Quantity Surveyor - Transport - Construction - Financial Analysis - Forecasting - Budgeting - Commercial - Asset Management - Negotiation

Our client is part of the Transport industry, with a site based in Central London, who is currently seeking an individual to work as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They are a fantastic company to work for and this is a great role for someone who has experience in the Rail or Construction industry and also in a similar role.

The key responsibilities and skills required for this role include:

- Developing and enhancing relationships with suppliers to maximise contractor performance.
- Ensuring the evaluation and measurement of works including variations where necessary with the contractual scope.
- Managing and reporting budget expenditure and income levels.
- Preparing final accounts, including validation of contractor submissions by measurement and quantification.
- Preparation and management of tender, pricing and contract documentation.
- Carrying out cost analysis of tenders.
- Achieving targets set by Asset Management Director and Head of Projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and negotiation skills and be very analytical. Experience in the Rail or Construction industry is essential. You will need to have extensive experience of Supply Management Activity and financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
