Senior Quantity Surveyor - Housing Maintenance

Eden Brown in partnership with a North East Lincolsnhire based Housing Association are currently recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on Planned Maintenance Contracts for the Association.

Job details

-Assist in the continuing mobilisation of the Planned Improvement Programme.
-Assistance in up-skilling the team on NEC3 Term Service Contract 2013 Option C contract management.
-Assist the Service Manager with regards to contract management processes and procedures.
-Provide contractual advice to the Shoreline delivery team.
-Cost management and value engineering.
-Apply the contractual payment procedure to produce monthly payments and final payments, in line with the Cost Model.
-Assess and calculate the Contractors share of the incentivisation amount.
-Review the Contractors defined costs submissions in relation to the contractual Schedule of Cost Components.
-Produce monthly report on the financial aspects of the Contract, particularly in comparison to budget.
-Review individual task orders prior to issue.
-Procurement of Lot 3 (Fencing ) works.
-Procurement, through the Framework, of the mini competitions for 2015-16 for Lot 1 ( Internal Works) and Lot 2 ( External Works).
-Protect Shoreline contractually.
-Chair and lead the Commercial Group for the Contract.
-Manage compensation events costs.

Repairs and Maintenance

-Cost management on compensation events, variations and work that is outside of the SOR Price List.
-Assistance in the preparation of NEC contract Documentation for works that sit outside the Mears contract.
-Value engineering supplies and equipment specifications.
-Management of the daily audit process ensuring correct application of SOR's.
-Review high cost voids and challenge any incorrect areas of cost.

This is a 12 month contract wit the possibility of further extension
