SENIOR QUANT DEVELOPER: C#/C++, PHP, RISK, SQL, AGILE

My Client, a leader in insurance and financial services, are currently running a program to renew the Risk Model landscape. The goal is to allow the reporting process to run as much STP as possible in order to be able to quickly and reliably pass the reporting process. They are looking for a Senior Quant Developer who will describe the requirements and designs in the project for the valuations and calculations, and then develop the designs together with colleagues of the Modelling team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Proven expertise in asset pricing, insurance and risk management
- Solid knowledge and background in design and software development in C#/C++ (PHP is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with debugging, troubleshooting, testing, software optimization, data structure and system performance modification in C#
- Experienced in agile & modern software development practices
- In-depth understanding of database and entity framework
- Highly efficient in SQL and database queries
- A Master Degree and/or PhD in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Quantitative Finance or a directly related field, with a decent mathematical acumen.
- Self-motivated and highly encouraged to work as part of a team and transfer the knowledge to the team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
