Senior Quanitity Surveyor

I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a multi million pound Power Station project. The position will be based in Teeside and the contract will be for an initial 12 months. Overview My client is a major contractor on a high value Power Station project and is need for an experienced Quantity Surveyor from a Power Generation background. The candidate will work closely with the Commercial team managing a number of sub-contractors on a project worth over 150 million GBP. Applicant must have main contractor experience, be commercially aware but also have a high technical/engineering understanding. Previous Power plant experience in preferred but not essential. Due to the urgent need of the position the client will be seeking applicants over the next 2 weeks. You will need the capability to solve complex problems whilst possessing the attitude to see the job completed to the deadline and under budget. You must be fully commited to workplace safety and confident in negotiation and management Experience Required Ideally degree qualified with experience of working for main contractors on multi million pound schemes. Must have over 2 years post graduate experience and be able understand contract documentation.
