Senior Quality Systems Engineer, Medical Devices, Zurich

Real Pharma has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a global Medical Devices organization in a commutable distance fromZurichor Zug.

This position has come about, owing to recent developments in the departmental structure. Within the team, there are 4 co-workers reporting to the Quality Manager, and you will be team member 5. This is an open, direct, working culture where you will be empowered to work autonomously, will be managed through objectives, and supported as you work.

Your main responsibilities will be:

*Direct and manage project development from beginning to end

*Plan and schedule Management Review Meetings and Quality Trending Meetings

*Track Action items and deliverables

*Develop and implement quality system strategies to improve the performance of the quality system

*Provide leadership and guidance related to area of responsibility CAPA, internal and external audits

*Develop metrics for determining effectiveness of applicable quality systems and develop plans to address improvements as identified

*Identify quality system issues and improvements and works with various operational groups to create plans to solve and implement

*Carrying out internal and external system audits

*Carrying out corporate or distributors system audits on request

*Carrying out product audits

Your Qualifications and Experience:

*Post-secondary school education and qualification in a technical discipline, preferably engineering, physical or biological science

*At least 6 years experience in Quality Management within the medical device business

*Experience in CAPA, and Audits within the medical device business

*Requires independent decision making ability and the ability to interpret and apply regulations and standards (ISO, QSR, etc.) as appropriate.

*Excellent command of English and German both verbal and in written
