We require a Senior Quality Specialist to support the Quality Manager in the promotion, assurance and process development of quality across the business unit and multiple programmes.

Essential skills/experience required:
Qualified QMS Lead Auditor (ISO9001; 2008)
Possess at least 5 years experience in a similar role
Detailed knowledge and proven experience in quality processes, standards and improvement techniques
Quality standards and previous quality assurance within manufacturing and/or construction environment would be advantageous
Experience working in a Quality Assurance role in a large project multi-disciplinary environment.
Proven strong problem solving, analytical and organisation skills with a detail oriented attitude.
Demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying problems and providing effective resolutions.
Strong influencing skills across all levels at site and programme management
Desktop automation skills(MS Office Suite and use of database applications)
Flexibility to travel to sites when required, across the UK, Europe and possibly USA as required.
Comfortable in a changeable and challenging work environment.

Duties include:
Process implementation guidance/tailoring/training throughout the Smart metering Programmes to ensure a robust, fit-for-purpose Quality Management System is maintained.
Process change is rolled-out across the Programmes and projects are compliant
Assist the PMO in creating project specific guidelines/checklists are effective and implemented
Report-out/improve process compliance across the projects
Analysis of metrics from projects and determine areas of concern for upwards reporting to the Quality Manager.
Assist project managers in arriving at corrective/preventive action for identified issues or areas of perceived risk.
Track and report status of actions.
Perform/lead audits and surveillance's (by direct observation/verification) of Programme activities and related documentation and records (to include Factory Acceptance Testing).
Prepares plans, checklist, schedules and reports; Reviews technical documents/procedures/work instructions/etc.
Conducts briefings and advises/interfaces with project management on matters to aide in the identification and resolution of Quality Audit results.
Ensure identification, tracking, trending and timely resolution of findings/non-conformance's/deficiencies and evaluates the effectiveness of actions.You may lead surveillance or problem investigation teams (Root Cause Analysis) and participate/lead internal audits and Supplier Audits as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Note: The scope of this position includes the conduct of Quality Assurance Surveillance Visits, Audits and Factory Acceptance Testing will require frequent work in factory and construction environments. It will include travel to Client sites, vendor/sub-contractor facilities and or other locations as needed. A current valid Passport will be required as will eligibility to travel within Europe and USA.
