Senior Quality Engineer/ Quality Engineer Letchworth

Salary: up to 45.000 (per annum)

Contract Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of a permanent contract after this time)

We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer responsible for QC and QE support of all products being assembled, tested and shipped out of the facility. The Quality role will be responsible for the development and execution of Quality Control Plans (including physical inspection) to maximize customer satisfaction with the quality of delivered product. Quality engineering focus will be in the areas of Material Review Board, Internal and Supplier Corrective Actions, Internal
Solid understanding of DFX principals.
Proven experience in an electronics design & manufacturing company
Accredited Auditor Certification is desirable
FMEA
Computer skills: Microsoft, SAP, Access Dimensions

The responsibilities of the Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer role will include:

Represent the Defense Solutions QA department in UK Operations.
Development and execution of Quality Control Plans
Support AS9100 certification via internal audits and Quality System maintenance
Manage Material Review Board Process.
Support supplier quality at vendors through the administration of the SCAR process and via site audits when required.
Support the UK Quality Manager in managing customer quality requirements, including preparation and analysis of data.
Support ESD, MSD, 5S & ROHS Management programs as required
Provides QA support on the implementation of Engineering Change Orders, Program Instructions, Waivers and Material Substitution Requests.
Contributes to and participates in Monthly and Quality Ops and IPT Reviews.
