Senior Quality Assurance Technician Job

SR. QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in IRVINE,CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Background in HACCP and QRMP process.
- Familiar with USDA standards

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Communicates information and instructions to escrow branches, but not to customers
- Daily processing and packaging.
- Provide guidance to the other QA.
- Daily collection and testing of product samples in process & finished to evaluate quality and food safety.
- Check equipment conditions and calibrate: lab instruments, thermometers, etc.
- Enforce procedures, policies, & controls to assure all products are prepared according to USDA standards.
- Assist management in compilingFood Science, Quality Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry.
- Servsafe's Certificate on Food Handling - preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in food industry or a degree from education requirements.
