Senior Qlikview Developer

Yoh has a six (6) month contract opportunity for a SENIOR QLIKVIEW DEVELOPER ANALYST to join our client in Allentown, PA.

PAY RANGE: Up to $ 81.24 per hour.

SCHEDULE:

8 hours per day; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Some nights and weekend work will be required for production cutover during release schedules.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Incumbent will participate on a cross-functional team to design, build, test and deploy complex analytical solutions utilizing QlikView versions 9 - 11.
- Participating in business requirements and design review sessions.
- Providing input on proposing, evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet requirements and are consistent with our current standards and processes.
- Extracting, transforming and loading data into QlikView applications.
- Developing, testing, debugging QlikView applications.
- Migrating code across development and testing landscapes.
- Creating publisher jobs.
- Developing documentation.
- Transferring knowledge and landing application to BI Support team.

QLIKVIEW:
- Developing effective QlikView data models.
- Developing Front End applications using QlikView technology.
- Utilizing Scripting language to meet complex business requirements.
- Utilizing QlikView Publisher capabilities.

DEVELOPMENT/TESTING/PROCESSES:
- Extract, transform and load data from multiple data sources into the QlikView application.
- Design, build, test and debug QlikView solutions based upon specified requirements.
- Follow implementation standards.
- Utilize source control tools.
- Follow deployment process.
- Tune data loads and QlikView application for efficient performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3+) years of experience utilizing QlikView to implement complex analytical solutions which access data from multiple sources.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions.
- Experience creating extract/transform/load routines from data sources including SAP BW, SAP R/3, and MS SQL Server as well as other data sources.
- Solid experience developing complex QlikView data models.
- Experience in Chemicals industry a plus.
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
- Good problem solving and testing skills.
- Knowledge of UC4 job scheduling is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a plus.
