Our client is one of the world's leading financial services seeking QA candidates with knowledge of Java in order to write test scripts, as well as experience in QA testing of Embedded products and mobile devices. The candidate should be familiar with Java programming and Eclipse IDE.

The main function of a QA Test Analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. The Analyst is responsible for the development of scripts, and possesses the technical skills to design software or customize software for client use.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and write test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedure
- Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
- Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
- Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
- Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks
- Write test script in Java to test products under development
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate test development and determine project scope and limitations
- Run and execute the test plans to QA the product under development
- Exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required
- 5-8 years experience required
- 5+ years experience with Test Automation
- Proficiency with Eclipse environment
- Good knowledge of Java cryptographic libraries
- Experience in QA testing of Embedded products such as smart cards, micro SD, SIM, etc.
- Experience in QA testing of mobile devices, Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, etc.
- Experience in QA testing of communication protocol
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
- Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
