Senior Public Relations Lead (2 year Fixed Term Contract)
Milton Keynes Office Based

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Plus contributory pension up to 7%

Ibell Cowlin are now working in partnership with a Milton Keynes based charity, they have a new and exciting opportunity to hire a talented Public Relations specialist. This role will be to take the lead in building key media relationships and developing imaginative media activities that will increase awareness of the charity in both the education sector and volunteering market across the UK.

With offices in Milton Keynes, my client is a leading charity that provides award winning sports based leadership courses that aid in improving communication, organisation, motivation and all round leadership within the workplace.
Working closely with the Head of PR, Marketing and Communications, you will deliver an engaging Public Relations agenda and manage high-profile integrated communication campaigns that help achieve the goals of the overall business. This charity is currently transforming the organisation, due to a recent sponsorship deal with a major UK retailer.

If you would like to be considered for this opportunity you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Working at a senior level on high profile media relations campaigns which will support consumer and fundraising activities.
- Already have proven experience of planning and delivering high profile proactive and reactive media relations for all multi-media platforms
- Experience of generating proactive targeted media coverage in both consumer and national media titles.
- Already process relevant media contacts and in depth and knowledge of the national media (press, broadcast and online)
- Previous experience of writing and distributing press releases for various media publications to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to adapting style to suit each audience
