Senior Public Health Analyst

Sand Resources is looking for a Public Health Analyst for a contract opportunity in London.

Candidates must be highly numerate and have experience using multiple research methods. The ideal candidate will also have experience in extracting and analysing NHS datasets.

You will be required to lead in the gathering and interpretation of complex medical data which will be produced for the benefit of stakeholders in a clear manner.
You will assist the head of Health Intelligence in developing JSNA's in their entirety. You will also be responsible for leading the planning and organising the collection of medical data to use in your reports.

The information you collect and produce will be used to implement policies and services across the region.

Key Requirements:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)
- Provide public health expertise and knowledge
- Have responsibility for planning, reviewing and developing
- Be able to analyse and disseminate findings to produce complex statistical data to stakeholders in a manner that is understandable
- Have specialist knowledge of statistical techniques and epidemiology
- In depth Knowledge and experience of local and national NHS and social care data
- Be able to use multiple database software packages
- The ability to attend meetings and liaise comfortably with stakeholders
- Initiate and plan statistical work programmes and make adjustments to meet requirements
