Our client has the opportunity for a specialist in Propertyand to support the development of an optimum property services organisation fully resourced with the required skills to provide the necessary support to meet workload needs, and to manage, motivate and develop property staff eg Property Specialist(s), Technical Specialist(s) and Property Administrator(s).

Deliverables (for contract)
The Senior Property Specialist (SPS) plays a key role in leading and developing a defined portfolio of services delivering agreed objectives for all Sellafield managed sites and ancillary properties both on and off the Nuclear Licensed Site. This includes the successful delivery of scope, schedule and cost by ensuring the optimum provision of property and land management services from the SL Property Team, NDA and third party land owners and the supply chain. This will be against an assigned portfolio of work covering LC3 Compliance, Property and Land Acquisitions and Property and Rates Management. Whilst reporting to the Head of Property (HoP), the role of SPS is to lead, manage and undertake complex property activities to meet the business needs of Sellafield Limited (SL). This will encompass all aspects of property and land management on sophisticated and complex legal agreements demanding a high level of professional experience and competence, taking due account of SL initiatives To the HoP, within the SPS's assigned portfolio for the execution of property activity within defined, scope, schedule and cost: To assist in the establishment and collation of forecasts of the demand requirements and ensure that individual procurement activities are effectively undertaken to meet their needs. To ensure property and land strategies deployed within portfolio are fully co-ordinated and aligned to overall strategic requirements. To assist the HoP in the development of programmes of work to enable effective deployment of resources. To ensure property risks are identified, managed and mitigated. To challenge demand requirements to ensure value for money sourcing. To manage LC3 compliance, property agreements, property strategies, business rates and property management. To assist in ensuring value added property management techniques and controls are deployed on projects and tasks through to close-out. To ensure that all property activity records, reports and system data are completed accurately and to agreed timescales. To provide feedback on contractor/supplier performance against the contract(s) Where relevant, to manage resources engaged in property activity within the HoP's assigned portfolio, including PMAs, EDS, succession planning, development and training, etc. To ensure consistent application and implementation of Company property policy and procedures. To assist the HoP in managing key stakeholder relationships, including the NDA and other identified stakeholders relevant to the assigned portfolio. To ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including promoting a "safety culture" (both within Sellafield Ltd and the Supply Chain). To provide proactive leadership to deliver significant and sustained improvements in the discharge of these accountabilities, by promoting, stimulating, encouraging and leading improvement processes. To provide property support and advice to clients.
