Senior Project/Program Manager

We are looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/PROGRAM MANAGER

Location: Malta, NY

Duration: 6 months+

Start: 2 weeks

The Project Manager/Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for the creation and delivery of US based IT projects and Programs.
This includes ensuring all deliverables, dates, and budgets are executed according to a clear plans.
The PM need to be highly collaborative; working across the: Infrastructure, Applications, Client internal/external delivery, and Business Teams.

Specific Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope of original commitment.
Ensure all ITwhere possible, to allow the execution team to focus on delivery
Identify, create, train and drive best practices in project management methodology
Creation of project performance reports & metric
Critical thinking and problem solving skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

4 Year College degree in IT, Mathematics, Business or Engineering
4 to 6 years of IT project management experience
8 to 10 years of IT Experience
High level of demonstrated project management excellence
Excellent collaboration skills working with global teams
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project
Self-driven can do attitude
Clear and effective verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification
Black Belt in 6 Sigma
Proven business analysis experience
