Senior Project Planner

A contract opportunity has come available to join a busy team on a major programme of work.

The SENIOR PROGRAM PLANNER works in a complex project environment area. Against this background the position is challenged by the need to deliver high quality based outcomes within both resource and time constraints, balancing competing priorities and demands of key stakeholders.

As a senior planner you will have a PMO analyst reporting to you.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- At least 5 years experience planning and scheduling of large scale projects.
- Proven experience in the use of scheduling software (ADVANCED MS PROJECT SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF PRIMAVERA P6 ) to create, track and modify schedules.
- Relevant qualifications (PMI, PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent) is highly regarded.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
- Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills and attention to detail.
