Senior Project Manager - Roll Out

For our customer, a major operator on the Swedish market, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to work with modernization of existing GSM900 NW and deployment of new UMTS 900 NW. Subsequently deployment of LTE 1800 MHz.

Description of project:

- Modernization of existing GSM900 and deployment of UMTS900.
- Deployment of UMTS900, secondary LTE on the 1800 MHz band, in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo.

Role/tasks:

- Main Project Manager for UMTS900/L1800 rollout

This is a very challenging role that requires a very experienced Project Manager. The main tasks for this role will include:

- Procurement
- Transmission Planning and Network Design
- System Development, including a technology upgrade of transmission from TDM/SDH to IP
- Proof of concept
- Deployment to three Swedish cities, and
- Responsibility of all hand-over activities from the project to the line organization

Requirements for competence:

- PM Certificate - PM Certificate required - High importance
- Project Management- more than 8 years experience is mandatory.
- Procurement - more than 2 years experience - High importance
- Telecom - more than 5 years experience is mandatory
- Mobile Systems - more than 2 years experience - high importance (Knowledge of Radio Access Network infrastructure is an asset)
- System Development - more than 4 years experience - High importance
- TDM/SDH & IP - more than 2 years experience - Medium importance
- Handling of Vendors - more than 2 years experience - Medium importance
- Handling of subcontractors - more than 2 years experience - Medium importance
- TS PROMO - more than 5 years experience - High importance (Or similar structured project management method as PROPS, PPS, Pejl, Prince 2, etc.)
- Stakeholder handling - More than 2 years experience - High importance
- Business oriented - Medium importance
- Analytic - High importance
- Pragmatic - High importance
- Team player - High importance
- Energy & drive - High importance

Other

- Full time assignment, 40 h/week, normal office hours.
- Travel to Stockholm, Malmo and Gothenburg is required
